HAND PROJECT
All complete work must meet the following criteria:
The various steps we followed can be seen to the right -------------------------------------------------------------> |
In our sketchbook we collaboratively defined the element of VALUE. We also created value scales using 5 different techniques we collectively identified.
Contour Hand Drawings
We made viewfinders using overhead projector film to help us better understand contour lines and foreshortening.
Example from Today I Created...

We used the viewfinders to help us draw contour drawings of our hands in different positions. We completed a total of 5 drawings. 3 of the drawings were of our hand in three different positions. 2 drawings were of our hand holding two different objects.
Collaborative Line Drawings
We will use the elements of LINE & COLOR and the principle PATTERN to create 8 small pieces. These pieces will be added to a larger collaborative piece.
Using this worksheet --------------------------------------------------------------------------> You will combine LINE, COLOR, and PATTERN to create 8 small pieces. Your compositions must reflect the following color combinations:
